Special Interest Workshop: Flower Pin Cushion, August 6th, 9AM, EHC building fairgrounds. Kits will be provided, but you will need a few basic supplies a list is available at Extension Office. Cost is $3.50 for members and $4.50 for non-members. NOTE the date in the Scoop is incorrect. Please let your club members know that the date is Aus. 6th. Changes to the date have been made at the Office and EHC building. Sorry for the confusion. Valerie

It's a New Year for Garland County EHC

Do you have your new Yearbook for this year? If not, go to your club's next meeting and get it when you pay your dues. Also, if you didn't get a Leadership Manual last year, go to the Extension Office for a copy (some of the new copies are orange!).

Officer Leader Training Session

Special Interest Workshop July 2, 2010

Due to a scheduling conflict we had to cancel the July 2, Special Interest Workshop "Yipes, Stripes", octagonal table mat. I will see about a reschedule at a later date. The next scheduled workshop is a Flower Pin Cushion, August 13, 9AM, EHC building, sample and supply information are posted at the EHC office and will be posting same at the EHC building.

LeaderSHIP

Come join in the fun, games, and food at our "LeaderSHIP" training day on Friday, June 25, at 9:00 a.m. at the EHC Building. All members are welcome to come play EHC Jeopardy and see how much you know about our organization.

Officer Installation

Joyce Hall, AEHC President, installed the new officers for 2010-11 on May 28 at the Spring Council Meeting. Wilma Blair is the new president, to be assisted by Joan Rich, president-elect; Wayne Williams, vice-president; Janie Woods, secretary; Judy Brink, treasurer; Barbara Smith, parliamentarian; and Peggy Barnett, past president. They are all laughing because they are remembering the "style show rejects"!
