Low Fat Dip to Go With Those Pretzels

The pretzel recipe sounds really good...and I've got a recipe for a dip that will go great with the pretzels or (more healthfully) veggies and fruit. Today at our COACHES meeting, Phyllis Pipkin gave out this following recipe (and is it wonderful!):

Low Fat Red Pepper Dip
1 7-oz. jar roasted red peppers, drained
2 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
1 tsp. lime juice
1 cup fat-free sour cream
4 oz. fat free cream cheese, softened
In a blender, puree peppers with garlic, cumin, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. Stir sour cream with the cream cheese until smooth. Combine pepper mixture with the cream cheese mixture. Season to taste. Makes about 2 cups. Per 1/4 cup serving: Calories 44, Total fat 0.2g
Also good with any kind of chip (of course!).

Recipe for Cajun Pretzels

Ingredients:
1 16 oz bag of small pretzels (not pretzel sticks)
¾ cup oil
1 tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp lemon pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
1 package ranch dip mix

Mix all ingredients except the pretzels in a small bowl. Place pretzels in a gallon-size zip-top bag, and pour the oil mixture over. Zip bag and gently shake. Lay the bag flat on the counter. Every 45 minutes or so, turn to bag to the opposite side and lay flat.. Continue turning bag for a few hours or until all the oil is absorbed. Transfer pretzels to a clean zip-top bag or container.
